Putting my product together was a longer process that I anticipated. I thought throughout I was doing a good job filming little clips of trees and nature weeks ahead and filming clips of me talking the night before but when I put my final product together I just was not happy with it. I really wanted all the clips and pictures from my video to be my own but when I was editing I realized it wasn’t looking like that was going to happen. I left editing until the last two nights and I regret that, looking back there are so many things I would have added to make my product the best I know I could have made.
In grade nine I did a video about plastic pollution in the oceans and how in affected ecosystems and sea creatures, when I was done editing that I remember looking at it and being so proud and so excited to show the class and it was out if the box and different from everyone’s power points. For this project when I was done editing and looked at my product I was just so disappointed but knew there was nothing I could do because its now 10 pm and I haven’t even tried uploading my video to YouTube which I knew would be a long process.
I do not regret doing a video whatsoever I just wish I would have been more creative then just filming trees and doing voiceovers. This project was super fun and I wish I would have managed my time better to guarantee my happiness was there. I had only a few hours of sleep that night and It wasn’t a concerning to me. The week before my product was due I has a math culminating test every day, (yes one different test every single day for a week.) I think having that the last week too definitely made my gears switch from getting the product done to studying for math, being I am terrible at math.
